This site is a community hub for Nepalese living in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if any) is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images.
Cookies
- If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last one year.
- When you log in, we set cookies to save your login info and screen preferences. Login cookies last two days; screen option cookies last a year. If you select “Remember Me”, login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
- If you edit or publish content, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This contains the post ID of the article you edited and expires after one day.
